I’ve tried and tested quite a few recipes for protein cookies and I’m yet to come across one which A) doesn’t taste like cardboard or B) isn’t so bloody calorie dense…until now!

These cookie are super easy, tasty and just under 140 calories!

Feel free to chocolate chips or peanut butter to these too..

Ingredient Amount
Protein Powder (chocolate) 30g (1 scoop)
Oats (finely ground) 150g (2 cups)
Egg 1
Light Brown Soft Sugar 100g (1/2 cup)
Butter (soft) 30g
Baking Soda 1 tsp
Chocolate Chips 45g (1/2 cup)
Peanut Butter 3 tsp

Cooking Instructions

Step 1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees and line 2 baking trays with baking parchment.

Step 2. In a bowl, mix together the protein powder, ground oats, butter, sugar, baking soda and the egg. If you're using chocolate chips, add them here.

Step 3. Mould the dough in to 10 equal balls and place them on the baking trays. If you're adding peanut butter I would suggest sandwiching this into the middle of your cookies before baking them.

Step 4. Place in the oven for 10-12 minutes. Leave to cool slightly and then enjoy!
